Police search for more victims after woman’s body found at home in Dewsbury

A body was discovered at a home in Dewsbury

A woman’s dead body was discovered at home after police arrested a man attempting to hold up an Asda supermarket.

Police arrested a man accused of attempting an armed robbery at an Asda supermarket in Dewsbury at 9.21pm on Saturday.

Officers seized a knife from the man and arrested him.

According to police, the man then revealed to officers that a woman, who he believed to be dead, was inside a property on Norfolk Street, Batley.
