Wyandotte County deputy dies after shooting near Shawnee Drive

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Police are investigating after a Wyandotte County deputy was killed in a shooting on Saturday afternoon.

The shooting took place near S. 30th St. & Shawnee Drive in Kansas City, Kansas. The deputy was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, according to KCKPD.
