In Friday night’s win over the San Francisco Giants, the New York Mets’ offense had one of its best performances of the season. On Saturday, it was the pitching and defense’s turn to put on a fine performance as the Mets beat the Giants 2-1 at Oracle Park. David Peterson gave the Mets another consistent outing.
