Phil Robertson’s Gave His Family Clear Instructions Before He Died

Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson died in May 2025 after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The patriarch of the Robertson family had a clear message for his kids before taking his last breath.

"Do not cry at my funeral. I know where I’m going," he said, according to his son, Willie Robertson, who was quoted in an interview with TV Insider.

"Phil had been struggling with Alzheimer’s for a while. It was on our mind for sure, his condition. It’s part of life," Willie told the outlet.
