NISAR mission to benefit global community in earth observation: ISRO chief

ISRO chairman V Narayanan announced the GSLV-F16/NISAR mission, a collaborative effort between ISRO and NASA, set to launch on July 30th. This mission, carrying a dual-band radar satellite, marks several firsts, including being the first ISRO-NASA Earth Observation Mission. NISAR will monitor Earth's land and ice surfaces, aiding in understanding natural calamities and providing crucial data for various applications.
