Fog, technical problem disrupt flights at Larnaca airport

Dense fog and a technical problem disrupted flights in and out of Larnaca airport in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The technical problem impacted the airport’s passenger check in system.

Some inbound flights were diverted to Paphos, while others were delayed by multiple hours. Delays impacted the majority of outbound flights on Saturday morning.

The fog had lifted and flights were operational before 10am on Saturday.
