After 34 years on air, E! News is getting the axe. Deadline reports that Versant, the company that oversees E! as well as a number of former NBCUniversal cable networks, has canceled the nightly celebrity-news show amid restructuring.
The E! News digital brand will focus their resources on social platforms, so don’t worry — the GlamBOT will likely be on the red carpet next awards season. The fate of the correspondents, on the other hand, isn’t clear.
