As a lover of both slow cookers and potatoes, I was pretty excited to read about TikTok’s viral “swamp potatoes”.

Also known as “smothered green beans”, the old-school Southern US dish combines spuds, spicy sausage, green beans and butter, with seasonings like paprika and, often, a pack of French onion soup.
