Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s Cosby Show co-star has issued a statement on his tragic death. Warner died from an accidental drowning during a family vacation in Costa Rica, People magazine reported on July 21. He was 54.
In a statement to Deadline, actor Geoffrey Owens said, “This tragedy has almost left me speechless. Malcolm was a lovely man, a sweet and sensitive soul. I respected him for many reasons, including the fact that he genuinely loved the act of creation. He had the mind of an actor and the heart of a musician.
