Delhi govt hikes cash awards for Olympic winners, approves free laptop scheme for students

The Delhi government has significantly increased cash awards for Olympic and Paralympic medalists from Delhi, with gold medalists now receiving Rs 7 crore. Silver and bronze medalists will be awarded Rs 5 crore and Rs 3 crore, respectively. Additionally, under the Mukhyamantri Digital Scheme, 1,200 meritorious students will receive free i7 laptops to support their education.
