Aline Pereira, sister of UFC star Alex Pereira, wins Karate Combat flyweight championship

Aline Pereira has joined big brother Alex Pereira in the champion’s circle.

Karate Combat crowned a flyweight queen Saturday in Miami as Pereira won a unanimous decision over Fani Peloumpi in the evening’s co-main event to claim the vacant title. In her corner was Alex, the former two-division UFC champion, and coach Plinio Cruz.
