Report: Mets Recalling Francisco Alvarez From Triple-A

The Mets are recalling Francisco Alvarez from Triple-A Syracuse according to Mike Puma of the New York Post.

Alvarez has been consistently driving the ball out of the ballpark since his demotion on June 22. The Mets’ catcher hit his 11th home run over his last 16 games on Sunday. The team will call him up nearly a month after he was sent down, ahead of its three-game series against the Los Angeles Angels.
