Heat, humidity returns to NY, NJ before pleasant week

NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Expect conditions to heat up Sunday as winds switch over to a southwest direction.

The humidity will stay in place as well, so it will feel quite muggy at times. Some areas will get brief relief in the form of a shower or thunderstorm, though. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 80s and low 90s.
