Decentralised solar plants of 1,190 MW capacity installed in Rajasthan in last one year

Rajasthan has significantly expanded its decentralized solar power capacity under the PM-KUSUM scheme, adding 1,190 MW in the last year. Farmers are becoming power producers, benefiting from low-cost electricity and improved rural livelihoods. The state aims to provide daytime electricity for agriculture to all farmers by 2027, potentially reducing discom losses.
