Bihar: AIIMS student found dead in hostel room, police launch probe into mysterious death

A first-year MBBS student, Yadavendra Shahu, was discovered dead in his AIIMS Patna hostel room. Police were alerted after his room remained locked and his phone rang unanswered. Authorities found his body on the bed. An investigation is underway, including a post-mortem examination. Separately, Dr. Tapeshwar Prasad, a retired health official, was shot and seriously injured by assailants in Bihar.
