Arunachal Pradesh to raise new armed police battalion to boost internal security

Arunachal Pradesh government has approved the raising of a new Arunachal Armed Police Battalion (AAPBN) to bolster internal security and reduce reliance on Central Armed Police Forces. This India Reserve battalion can be deployed nationwide if required by the MHA. The decision aims to enhance policing capacity, improve public safety, and create employment opportunities for local youths.
