San Jose: Police announce three new traffic death investigations

SAN JOSE — Police have announced three new traffic death investigations involving separate crashes — two of them hit and runs — in May and July in which the victims’ died in the days or weeks after the collisions occurred.

The most recent crash was reported Sunday at 4:33 a.m., when a man driving a black 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage was eastbound on Capitol Expressway and passing through the intersection at Senter Road when he hit a woman crossing Capitol Expressway, according to San Jose police.
