Afiyah Mounter charged in connection with aiding prison escapee

Afiyah Akilah Asher Mounter, 29, of Nicholls Road, Seaview, St James, has been formally charged in connection with the recent escape of prison inmate Kishon “Pappy” Thomas.

She was arrested by members of the Barbados Police Service’s Major Crime Unit and charged with three offences: assisting an offender between May 2 and July 12, 2025; assaulting police in the execution of their duty; and resisting police in the execution of their duty on July 12.
