In Nagarahole Forest, a 47-year-old watcher named Mada is critically injured after a sudden sloth bear attack during his anti-poaching duty at Sunkadakatte beat. The incident occurred near Hasihindalakada beat, leaving him with severe face and head injuries. He was immediately transported to a private hospital in Mysuru for urgent treatment, where he is currently battling for his life.
