Proclaimed offender (PO) Rupam Sharma held by Malerkotla Police; linked to 50 cases across Punjab, nearby states

Malerkotla Police have arrested Rupam Sharma from Jalandhar, a proclaimed offender implicated in around fifty cases across Punjab and neighboring states. SSP Gagan Ajit Singh reported the arrest, highlighting Sharma's involvement in numerous cases, primarily under the Negotiable Instruments Act, including a 2023 case in Malerkotla.
