New teeth for the Su-30MKI: Israeli LORA could be India’s next big strike weapon

India’s Air Force wants to add the Israeli Air-Launched Long-Range Artillery (Air LORA) missile to its arsenal, complementing the BrahMos and other strike systems. Fresh off the Rampage missile’s success in Operation Sindoor, the IAF sees Air LORA as a safer, more flexible deep-strike option that can hit critical targets up to 430 km away. With plans for local production and tech transfer, Air LORA could boost India’s precision strike power, defence industry and export ambitions all at once.
