KC Chiefs owner's family mourns loss of 9-year-old cousin in Texas floods

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) – The family of Clark Hunt, the chairman and CEO of the Kansas City Chiefs, is mourning the loss of a 9-year-old cousin, Janie Hunt, who died amid disastrous flooding in Central Texas over the weekend.

Tavia Hunt, the wife of Clark Hunt, confirmed the girl's death on Instagram following the catastrophic flooding in Kerr County at the site of a Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp for girls.

The flooding has killed more than 100 people, including dozens of children.
