Over Half of Netflix Subscribers Watch This Type of Content

Anime is as big as ever across the globe, including in the United States, and that trend has even taken shape on Netflix.

According to a post from the popular streaming service, over half of its subscribers watch anime. 

And, along with that, some great news for anime fans: Netflix is adding more over the course of July, and throughout the rest of the year into 2026.

"With more than half of Netflix’s members watching anime, there’s no denying the genre’s global impact," Netflix's article read.
