More scattered rain for Acadiana

Summer heat and humidity rolls on for Acadiana along with scattering of showers and storms. A cluster of storms is slowly fading away across western Acadiana this morning but more scattered activity is expected for the entire area later today. Rain chances will increase to 40% and a few storms could produce heavy rains with gusty winds.

The unsettled pattern continues through the rest of the workweek. Less activity is possible over the weekend.
