4 river sites in severe flood situation; 11 above warning level, says govt water body

Several rivers in Assam, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra faced severe flooding. The Central Water Commission reported some rivers exceeded danger levels. Other rivers in Assam, Bihar, Odisha, and Uttar Pradesh were above the warning level. Water inflows crossed critical thresholds in dams and barrages across multiple states.
