Delhi Airport hits global milestone with 77 mn passengers, now among top 10 busiest in the world

Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi secures the 9th position among the world's busiest airports in 2024. The airport handled over 7.7 crore passengers. Atlanta airport tops the list, followed by Dubai and Dallas/Fort Worth. Global passenger traffic exceeded 9.4 billion, surpassing pre-pandemic levels. Delhi airport also improves its ranking in aircraft movements, securing the 15th position.
