Entergy Louisiana plans Broussard power outage for maintenance

BROUSSARD, La. (KLFY) -- Some Lafayette Parish residents should expect to be without power for a few hours later this week.

According to city officials, residents of Broussard, Entergy Louisiana has notified the city that electric service will be turned off for maintenance on Wednesday, July 9, from 8:30-10:30 p.m..

They said this scheduled outage will affect Entergy customers from North Morgan Avenue, north and west to the city limits.

Residents are urged to plan accordingly for the outage.
