Thunderstorms increase fire concerns in Eastern Oregon
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Afternoon and evening thunderstorms in Eastern Oregon will increase wildfire potential on Tuesday.
Hot and dry conditions will continue to increase the wildfire concern over central and eastern Oregon. Thunderstorms with little rain and abundant lightning will increase the threat of new fires potentially starting and spreading.
Thunderstorms aren't expected to turn severe, but small hail, gusty winds, and frequent lightning are likely.
