Gopal Khemka murder: Key suspect killed in police encounter in Patna

In Patna's Damaria Ghat, a key suspect, Vikas alias Raja, in the murder of industrialist Gopal Khemka was killed in a police gunfight early Tuesday. Vikas, wanted in other criminal cases, opened fire while attempting to escape, prompting retaliation from the officers. Police recovered a pistol and cartridges from the scene, suspecting Vikas provided the murder weapon.
