GIP, Macquarie, VINCI join race for stake in CDPQ's India InvIT

Global Infrastructure Partners, Macquarie, and VINCI Highways are competing for a minority stake in Maple Infrastructure Trust, an InvIT sponsored by CDPQ, aiming to raise $350-$400 million. The funds will support Maple's acquisition of toll road assets from Ashoka Concessions. Existing investors, including CDPQ, may also reduce their holdings in the InvIT during this fundraising round.
