'Rag!' Ted Cruz's office curses out report he vacationed during deadly floods

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was reportedly in Greece sightseeing while the flood waters rushed through Texas hill country, killing at least 89 people so far, including young people at Camp Mystic.

After a Daily Beast report dropped about the ill-timed vacation, Cruz's communications director lashed out on X.

"A bulls--- piece published by a bulls--- rag outlet with no credibility, and with no regard for the tragedy in Texas. The Senator is on the ground in Texas and arrived as fast as humanly possible.
