Pub staff tried to save man after he was stabbed to death outside Wetherspoons

Witnesses have described how ‘hero’ pub staff battled to save the life of a man fatally stabbed in east London.

The 26-year-old victim was attacked opposite the King’s Ford Wetherspoons in Chingford Mount at around 9pm on Sunday evening.

Staff raced out of the pub with a defibrillator in an effort to save him, locals said.
