On Sunday, July 6 the Chicago Sky suffered their 12th loss of the season, this time in an 80-75 contest against the Minnesota Lynx, who own the best record in the WNBA at 17-2.
The Sky dominated the first quarter, out-scoring the Lynx 24-10 before Minnesota immediately fired back with a 28-13 second quarter run to take a one-point lead into halftime. Following the game, Sky head coach Tyler Marsh made it clear he wasn't too happy with the officiating.
