Kaladan Multi-Modal Transit Transport Project to be fully operational by 2027: Sarbananda Sonowal

Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal announced the Kaladan Multi-Modal Transit Transport Project, enhancing Northeast India-Myanmar connectivity, will be fully operational by 2027. With a Rs 5,000 crore investment, the government aims to boost waterways and maritime sectors, training 50,000 Northeast youth for maritime jobs.
