Chevy’s Cheapest EV Is Getting a Big Upgrade and a Longer Range
Chevrolet is rolling out a new version of the Bolt, its entry-level electric vehicle, with production expected to begin later this year. While it's being positioned as a 2027 model, early availability in 2026 seems likely, according to The Cool Down.
The updated Bolt is set to include a number of significant changes, including the use of GM’s new lithium-iron phosphate battery pack. This marks the first time the automaker will implement the technology, which could lower costs while improving battery durability.
