Watch: Trump offers 'controversial statement' to reporters

Donald Trump on Sunday told reporters he was offering them a "controversial statement."

Trump was answering questions from reporters, when he was asked if the football team formerly known as the Washington Redskins should change its name back from Commanders.

"You want me to make a controversial statement?" Trump asked. "I would."

He said that he would personally never have changed the name, and said the new name doesn't have the same ring to it.
