CBI takes over probe in Sandeshkhali violence case

The CBI has initiated an investigation into the 2019 murders of three BJP workers in Sandeshkhali, following a Calcutta High Court order. An FIR has been filed, and the probe focuses on the alleged involvement of suspended AITC leader Sheikh Shahjahan, whose name was initially in the chargesheet but later removed by the CID.
