Remand after two men beaten up outside nightclub

A 46-year-old man was remanded for two days on Sunday in connection with a case of robbery, extortion and causing actual bodily harm in Famagusta in the early hours of July 1, police said on Sunday.

A 23-year-old and a 20-year-old reported to police that while they were in a nightclub, a person working there asked them to leave under the pretext that they had caused damages to the venue’s toilets.
