Guarantee will stay, says CM Siddaramaiah after his advisor asks voters to choose between freebies & roads

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah affirmed that welfare schemes will continue. This came after his advisor Basavaraj Rayareddi suggested linking scheme benefits to road development. The opposition BJP criticized Rayareddi's statement. They alleged the government is financially strained. BJP also accused the CM of prioritizing minority schemes over development. Rayareddi's past remarks on corruption had also stirred controversy earlier this year.
