Karnataka shocker: Woman loses Rs 3.16 crore in ‘digital arrest’

A Mangaluru woman lost Rs 3.16 crore in a digital arrest scam. Fraudsters posed as police officers and a public prosecutor. The victim received a call about a SIM card purchased in her husband's name. She was threatened and instructed to transfer funds to various accounts. The fraudsters ceased communication after receiving the money.
