Watervliet police investigating alleged shooting incident

WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Watervliet police are currently investigating an alleged shooting, the department announced on Sunday. The incident reportedly occurred in the 1800 block of 7th Avenue.

One person was taken to a local hospital in connection with the shooting, police said. Their injuries do not reportedly appear to be consistent with gunshot wounds.
