Odisha government signs agreements for major investments in maritime trade infrastructure

The Odisha government has inked agreements with JSW Utkal Steel and Gopalpur Ports Limited, totaling over Rs 18,000 crore in investments. These projects aim to boost maritime trade infrastructure, creating 8,450 jobs. JSW will construct a cargo handling jetty near Paradip, while Gopalpur Port will undergo expansion, significantly increasing cargo handling capacity and solidifying Odisha's role in maritime commerce.
