Dems cheer as 'brazen' GOP provision axed from megabill that would 'crown Trump'

Senate Democrats have successfully removed part of President Donald Trump's “One Big, Beautiful Bill,” which would have blocked “federal government policies with injunctions or restraining orders,” according to a report from NBC.

According to a Democratic aide, the rule was removed because “it did not comply with the ‘Byrd rule,’ which says provisions must be directly related to taxes or spending.”
