Finnish leaders responses divided over US–Iran strikes

Finland has urged its nationals in Israel and Iran to consider leaving the countries following a sharp escalation in the Middle East, as President Alexander Stubb called for a firm stance against Tehran acquiring nuclear weapons.

On Sunday, Finland’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs advised citizens in Israel to depart amid growing instability after Iran launched missile attacks in retaliation for US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
