Moon phase today: What the moon will look like on June 22, 2025

The moon is constantly changing. Well, from our perspective, it is. Thanks to the different angles of light the sun shines, on Earth we get to see what looks like different moon "shapes".

This is known as the lunar cycle and is a series of eight phases of the moon's visibility, based on how much light the sun shines on it. The whole cycle takes about 29.5 days, according to NASA, and these different phases happen as the Sun lights up different parts of the moon whilst it orbits Earth.
