Spiking temperatures and high humidity in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) - After starting out the day with high humidity, temperatures rise fast under mostly sunny skies. Highs reach the mid 90s this afternoon with feels-like temperatures near 105 degrees. A few storms are possible, but most areas will remain rain-free. Tonight, all rain ends as temperatures settle in the 70s under partly cloudy skies.

Sunday will start out with more high humidity. Temperatures will climb into the mid 90s during the afternoon hours with feels-like temperatures once again pushing 105 degrees.
