High-speed police chase in Limassol ends in arrests and car fire

Two young men, aged 25 and 20, have been arrested following a dramatic car chase through the streets of Limassol on Friday night, which resulted in multiple collisions, warning shots from police, and a suspicious vehicle fire.

According to Limassol police, the incident began around 9.30pm during routine traffic checks. Officers from the traffic department attempted to stop a suspicious car travelling at 110 km/h in a 50 km/h zone. The vehicle had no number plates and heavily tinted windows.
