Rebecca Lucy Taylor, better known as Self Esteem, just released her third album A Complicated Woman
In 2021, the British musician and singer Rebecca Lucy Taylor found herself at something of a crossroads. Four years had passed since her band Slow Club had parted ways, after which she’d embarked on a solo career, rechristening herself under a new name, Self Esteem.
Her first album as Self Esteem, Compliments Please, had performed modestly upon its release in 2019, and earned her a small, though loyal, following.
