6-year-old child struck, killed by vehicle in Forest Grove parking lot

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A six-year-old child was struck and killed by a car in Forest Grove on Friday afternoon, police said.

The collision took place just after 4 p.m. in a parking lot near the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Laurel Street.

"On arrival, officers located a six-year-old child struck by a vehicle. The child was pronounced deceased on the scene. The identity of the child is not being released," Forest Grove police said.
