Beloved Restaurant Permanently Closing After Only 10 Months

No matter how long a local restaurant or bar has been part of the community, it's always a heartbreaker when that place has to shut down. Sometimes, it can hurt just as much to say farewell to a newer place, because there's so much hope and excitement around having a new bar or restaurant in town.

According to the National Restaurant Association, per Toast, there's a 30 percent failure rate in the restaurant industry. So, one in three bars are expected to close down within their first year.
